Classes & Workshops

Inspired by beauty in simple form, Nessa’s style brings together her love and fascination of the natural world and felt making in sculptural form

Felting is one of the oldest techniques for making textiles. Carded wool fibres, soap and water are all you need to explore this captivating craft

There are many exciting techniques to explore such as flat, 3d with a mold or template, cobweb, shibori and nuno felting. I am particularly interested in the contemporary approach of mixing metals with delicate fibres such as silk and lace with wool.
